Rhythm and Meter
Note and rest values, time signatures, beaming, grouping, triplets, irregular groupings.

Scales and Key Signatures
Major, all three minors, key signatures, modes and chromatic/whole-tone/pentatonic at L7–8.

Intervals
Major, minor and perfect plus the tritone; ascending from Level 5, descending from Level 7.

Chords and Harmony
Triads, dominant sevenths by quality and inversion; diminished and augmented at L7.

Music Terms and Signs
RCM's cumulative published list, Preparatory through Level 8.
Two categories skipped: Melody Writing, Form, and Analysis (asks the student to write notation, which needs an editor rather than a quiz) and Music History (is examined at Levels 9 and 10, above this product's range).

The syllabus does not arrive evenly. Level 7 is a cliff.
